Dale Armwood, CMSgt, USAF (Ret), is an Airman Heritage Foundation Board member and a member of the Membership Committee. She spent the majority of her USAF career in the education and training areas. Some of her key assignments included Chief of the Leadership and Management Instructors Course at Maxwell AFB responsible for the overall planning, organization and operation of the course. She moved on to become Chief of Student Operations at the Senior Noncommissioned Officers Academy overseeing the supervision, productivity and quality control of the staff. Armwood became Training Superintendent of a Basic Military Training Squadron at Lackland AFB supervising and training military training instructors. She then moved to become Superintendent of the Lackland Military Training Center Stan/Eval Division. She retired from the USAF in 1989 after 26 ½ years of service. She then joined H and R Block where she continues as a tax preparer and instructor teaching income tax theory and practice. She is also an enrolled agent with the IRS. She joined the AHF Board in 2005.
