Keith A. Reed


Keith Reed, MSgt, USAF (Ret.), is a Board member of the Airman Heritage Foundation and represents the Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources and a MBA in Management from Strayer University. Reed enlisted in 1985 in the Administration/Information field and spent the majority of his 20-year career in staff support and military protocol manager positions for a variety of USAF and Joint Service commands, eventually serving as an Air Force First Sergeant. Following his retirement from the USAF in 2006, he joined the AFSA and served for more than 13 years in staff positions of increasing responsibility including Plans and Programs, Member and Field Relations, and as Headquarters Senior Director. In July 2017, he was named AFSA Executive Director, responsible for leading the headquarters staff that serves more than 100,000 dues-paying members worldwide. He oversees its daily operations, lobbying and member engagement and support. His long AFSA tenure helps connect leadership at all levels, ensuring the organization continues to advocate on behalf of the total Air Force enlisted corps, their families and survivors. Reed also serves as President, Airmen Memorial Foundation, and Board Secretary, Airmen Memorial Foundation. He joined the AHF Board in 2017.
