Foundation Artifacts featured in Army Residence Community Display
Recently, the Army Residence Community (ARC) staff requested our assistance with the grand opening of their “Heritage Hall” which consists of various displays, memorabilia and wall-mounted resident veterans’ stories. Specifically, they requested the Airman Heritage Foundation to fill two on-site display cases with Army and Air Force artifacts from the 40’s and 50’s. Outreach Manager, Dave Shultz, answered the call. With the assistance of the Airman Heritage Museum the Foundation, set up an extensive, well-received display that will be in-place indefinitely. Shultz commented, “It was obvious the ARC staff and residents were thoroughly impressed with the display. Since over half of the ARC houses USAF retirees, it brought much needed awareness to our museum, foundation and our various programs.”
Thank you to the ARC for including the Airman Heritage Foundation’s artifacts in your display of U.S. Armed Forces memorabilia. If you are visiting ARC, the exhibit can be found in the High Rise lobby near the Activities Room.
