Guardians of Freedom Air Show Embraces History with AHF
The Guardians of Freedom Air Show took place at Sheppard Air Force Base from April 27th – 28th. The Airman Heritage Foundation (AHF) supported the event by showcasing historical artifacts and outfitting volunteers in U.S. Air Force period uniforms to create a living museum. The living museum received much positive feedback!
Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this happen, including Outreach Manager, Dave Shultz; Airman Heritage Museum Curator, Fernando Cortez; SMSgt Chantell M. Bowser; TSgt Joshua Davis; and the multiple teams that contributed to coordinating support. There were more than 30 volunteers on-site working to make the AHF’s participation a success.
