Retiree Appreciation Day a Success at JBSA-Randolph

The Airman Heritage Foundation (AHF) was on the scene once again during the annual Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) – Randolph Retiree Appreciation Day on September 9, 2023 at the Kendrick Club. CMSgt  Moseley (ret.) of the Randolph Retiree Activities Office supported the AHF by allowing the organization to have ample space to set up our various exhibits honoring enlisted members of the United States Air Force.

Leroy and Hilda Rogers along with Outreach Manager Dave Shultz manned the booth and promoted AHF programs to dozens of visitors.  Lt. Col. Shultz (ret.) shared attendees received a good dose of history thanks to the exhibits piquing their interests. “We already received a nice donation from a retired Chief who served in the USAF from the 1940’s-1970’s,” Shultz stated.

The event turned out to be a beneficial situation for the AHF thanks to the noteworthy efforts of our dedicated volunteers. They were even able to recruit some active-duty attendees to be Living History volunteers for upcoming events!
